Dream

After a long time, eventually I had long sleep (longer than 3 hours) and 'nonsense' dream last night and this morning. To me, if I had a dream, it means that my brain is really taking a rest, up to extend that I couldn't lift up my head in the morning. Now, that's "SLEEP"!

What did I dream? Well..., it always around the same old thing - cars, carpark, toilet, meeting friends - things like that. I didn't dream of losing my baby this time round, thank God! So here I am, 2 hours late for work, and I'm checking online for the meaning of what I just dreamt. Have a look...

1. Seeing a toilet in your dream, symbolizes a release of emotions or getting rid of something in your life that is useless.

2. Seeing a parked car in your dream, suggests that you need to turn your efforts and energies elsewhere. You may be needlessly spending your energy in a fruitless endeavor. Alternatively, a parked car my symbolize your need to stop and enjoy life.

3. Seeing your friends in your dream means aspects of your personality that you have rejected, but are ready to integrate these rejected part of yourself. The relationships you have with those around you are important in learning about yourself. Additionally, this symbol foretells of happy tidings from them and the arrival of good news.

Overall, I think number 1 is kinda true, number 2 is what I need to consider A LOT (I need a break, and I need to divert my attention elsewhere too). Number 3 is vague, because I don't remember which friend I was with in my dream. If it's a childhood dream, it would mean different thing altogether.

There's one more aspect in my dream - I saw a tennis court - whereas I don't play tennis. I can't get the meaning for that.

Ah well, I guess my mind is telling me to take a break, eh? ;-) Will "try" to plan on it, I promise.

Farisha tak tumpah pun!

Fasha enjoying her choc+orange Calciyum. Feeding herself, ensuring that there's no spill on herself and sofa. Of course, I double-ensure that by having her choc sit in a big, stable bowl.
Slow, yummy weekend,

To play or not to play

The dire strait.. Well, not quite. Our leading man just informed us that he's not playing anymore. So, instead of starting the gig, we're having a meeting discussing whether to proceed (with the lack of practice we had) or to take a rest for tonight. Decision is yet to be made. We even have the bistro manager with us to help us decide. See how! Ah! We just decided that next week will be our first official show. Yes!

Morning thoughts

It's 9am. My kid has been watching TV and eating biscuits on her own since 7.30am. I have to get up. Erks! She just came running and stole my magazine. Hmm.. Ok, back to my view - the ceiling fan and light - they haven't been cleaned since installation last year. Hey! This month is 1 year since I got my house key! Wow wee! Eh, accidentally detoured.. My fan, yeah right.. I need a long ladder, a time when my kid won't be around to disturb.. Argh! So tiring! Let me concentrate on tonight's jam first. :s

Stairs to brightness

A view worth captured.. Well, already halfway and had to stop to catch some breath. It's a 'high' way to hilltop extra carpark, where all those who come late to campus has to suffer heading there after the last class..

Geng, geng, geng bas sekolah!

We were on the way to nursery, early Saturday morning. Suddenly, at the traffic light, Fasha shouted, 'Mommie! Geng geng bas sekolah!' I looked around and saw a school bus far ahead. Oh! She remembers the kid's drama Geng Bas Sekolah seeing that bus. Do you know why she said the word 'geng' twice? Because to sing the theme song, 'kamilah geng.. Geng.. Geng.. Bas skolah' is too long!

Comel?

Early morning, Fasha just wants to be close to Mommie, by immitating Mommie in every way possible. While dressing up, she would ask for some powder/talc and apply it on her face. She doesn't need a bath before that! Seeing her 'tikus keluar tepung' face, I asked her to look in the mirror and tell me what she sees. 'Fasha comel' was what she saw.. Duh?

Early bird's early worm

Ok, probably the title doesn't sound quite right. What I want to say is... a good day starts with a good breakfast. I made some nice french toast for my kiddo and me, before we start the day with cooking, cleaning, laundry, feeding (for me), and playing, colouring, pretending to read and watching TV (for my kid).. The weekend activities on a lazy Sunday. The day ended with a drive around town for 2 hours. Hah! Mom and kid can never stay put at home the whole day, you know!

A 3-year-old's art

Some aesthetic values are worth captured and appreciated. Try this (as shown in pic), isn't this amazing? Ok, I sound like a mom hu hu hu.. My 3-year-old tot's new game is piling blocks (of same type) as high as possible. This is one of her few attempts. And I think the pic says a hundred words, if not a thousand, about my tot.

A view from panel clinic

Sick again? Urgh.. Just when I'm planning to finish marking students' assignments and continue my research (sigh). Let's see if I can face the air-cond above my desk for another few hours, before really 'disappear' for MC. From inside Molly's clinic, I see students and staff lingering around at the lobby.

My fellow colleagues

Isk.. Tak reti aku nak join diorang nih, tapi join gak la dah lunch skali. But as you can see, they are still shopping whereas I've already finished 'window shopping'. I rarely join my colleagues for lunch unless I could catch them before they plan to go out. Even though it's Friday, I'm still not used to enjoying the leisure time like this.. Unless I have important errands to settle.

Zzz.. What a wait

We have a gig to perform tonight. Drummerboy said he would be late, got a deadline to catch. I left my marking task and most of my files at work to start early and light for the gig. Upon arriving lead's house, I got the feeling that I'm too early. It was 5:25pm, messaged the lead to wake me up when he arrives, because I'd be catching a nap in my 'WanNaBe' (my car). A reply came in almost instantly saying, 'OK, am still in office'. Oh dear, this is gonna be loooonnnngggg... Timecheck: it's 6:42pm now. And we are to get ready by 7pm to start off for the gig.
