A view seldom see...

Just before the sun sets, a few minutes ago... from the staircase of my little apartment. A beautiful view I seldom see, since I normally reach home after the moon shows itself.

Porto Romano in Taman Tun Dr Ismail.. With seafood appetiser, aglio olio and lamb racks, to be washed down with East India - a mixture of brandy, white curacao and pineapple juice.. Something like that.

Changing view

We managed to change the room for the 2nd nite here. Smaller, cosier, a place I call 'hotel room'. The view is no longer the seaside though, which is OK.

Tent for rent

Teluk Kemang Beach (did I get the name right?), where all the happenings take place. They have tents with seats, for us to sit and view, without knowing we had to pay for them.. Gosh! Life is expensive in PD - even to pee we have to pay 50cents, without proper toilet bowls some more! Sigh..

Ostrich!

The one with grey feathers is female, the one with black is male. They eat grass and small insects. Their meats are sold as 'ostrich satay' freshly cooked at the farm cafe too! Erk!?

A view from one of the main beaches in Port Dickson, nearer to our hotel, with this pic taken facing the direction to the hotel. As promised, we went to the beach to play with sand. As usual, my daughter's 'afraid' of the sand and waves, but not for building sand castle..

Breakfast with a view

We managed to get up early for the complimentary breakfast. She had eggs, hotdogs and more eggs.., and I had rice (nasi lemak) and more rice (porridge), coffee and more coffee. The view outside with big ships was the one that made her full.

We decided to go out for dinner, and the first familiar 'brand' we saw made us turned in immediately - Pizza Hut. After so much of fuss, especially on what to eat, she ended up sitting on my lap.. Weird enough, she had 2 bowls of mushroom soup and some bits of my pan pizza.. oh and coffee!

She got up just when the sun was ready to set around 6:30pm. With a dazy look, she just nodded and got ready for pool. But she's so shy to swim with others that she just dipped a couple of times in the water and ready to go. Err..

After a long wait..

She's been counting hours, and at the last 30 minutes, she surrendered to slumber. I was making her study, and I was trying to study too when she's not cooperating. While waiting for my promise of swimming at pool after the teary Hindi movie on TV, with the bed full of books and tummy full of milk, her system shut down, pinning my thigh down as well.. I'm stuck!
