How to work?

One week past, and this is how my cubicle looks like. I thought of shifting from the previous cube because there was a stack of network cable protruding from the middle of the cube, but I couldn't move the table to the next aimed cube... So back to square one - either no table or no chair, of course the locker is somewhere else already by now. So no work?? What's the point of coming to work, again? :-S

Relaxing Tuesday

Alone at Mamak, having roti banjir and nescafe tarik as breakfast, with newspaper to feed the sight and mind (which I haven't done in years).., while the rest of the world were buzzing around in formals. I noticed some glances from other customers, especially 'typical' ladies - I guess I haven't been exposing myself much outside during day. Or is it because I was wearing lose khaki and tight skin-colored sleeveless, which made me look 'odd' to them? Hey, I'm in relaxed mode. Chill lah! I wasn't try to 'fish' your partners or anyone, right? So why the look?! Duh..?!

Tent for rent

Teluk Kemang Beach (did I get the name right?), where all the happenings take place. They have tents with seats, for us to sit and view, without knowing we had to pay for them.. Gosh! Life is expensive in PD - even to pee we have to pay 50cents, without proper toilet bowls some more! Sigh..

Breakfast with a view

We managed to get up early for the complimentary breakfast. She had eggs, hotdogs and more eggs.., and I had rice (nasi lemak) and more rice (porridge), coffee and more coffee. The view outside with big ships was the one that made her full.

We decided to go out for dinner, and the first familiar 'brand' we saw made us turned in immediately - Pizza Hut. After so much of fuss, especially on what to eat, she ended up sitting on my lap.. Weird enough, she had 2 bowls of mushroom soup and some bits of my pan pizza.. oh and coffee!

After a long wait..

She's been counting hours, and at the last 30 minutes, she surrendered to slumber. I was making her study, and I was trying to study too when she's not cooperating. While waiting for my promise of swimming at pool after the teary Hindi movie on TV, with the bed full of books and tummy full of milk, her system shut down, pinning my thigh down as well.. I'm stuck!

Billboard ad on Tropicana

This is the first time I see an ad on the function hall where my ex-colleagues and I performed our dance for the last time. It was in 2004, and we had fun dancing the then-famous Les Ketchup..
